Protecting Hospital Staff From Infections

June 6, 2024

Hospitals are created to care for patients and to avoid causing additional harm to them. However, we should not forget the carers, frontline hospital staff who are also at risk of harm during their work in the hospital. Infections do not differentiate between patient or staff. If staff are sick, they do not come to work and there is nobody to heal the patients. Infection control system and practices should also aim to protect hospital staff.

This webinar covers the following questions:

·       What are the infection risks for staff – obvious and hidden?

·       What are the key elements of an infection prevention program for staff?

·       What are global best practices to protect hospital staff from infections?
