Chiara is a Principal Economist based in Paris. She joined IFC from the OECD where she headed the Productivity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Division and co-managed the Global Forum on Productivity. Her work spans the fields of entrepreneurship, business dynamics, productivity, industrial and innovation policy and their evaluation. Chiara has played a leading role in advancing the comparative analysis of microdata across OECD countries and has been published in leading academic journals.
She is research associate at the Centre for Economic Performance at the London School of Economics, member of the French and Portuguese National Productivity Boards, the International advisory Board of the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies and the advisory committee of the Programme on Innovation and Diffusion at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
Chiara holds a doctoral degree in Economics from University College London and held academic appointments at the University of Siena, City University and the University of Cambridge, in addition to the LSE.
